The TSO has wrapped up all your favourite movie songs and scores in one tuneful, spectacular package! You'll enjoy such classic selections as Over the Rainbow, Moon River, Cabaret, and The Way We Were. Broadway sensation Hugh Panaro joins conductor Steven Reineke for this exciting programme; and, as a special treat, Jodi Benson, the original voice of Ariel in Disney's animated classic The Little Mermaid, sings the great songs from that film.

Pops Maestro Jeff Tyzik presents a tuneful trip through 100 years of solid-gold Broadway classics. It includes the greatest songs from early hit shows such as The Desert Song and Show Boat, “golden era” productions like My Fair Lady and West Side Story, and modern-day favourites including Les Misérables and The Phantom of the Opera.

You'll hear sweeping themes and dynamic suites from Star Trek, Star Wars, E. T. the Extra-Terrestrial, Avatar, Close Encounters of the Third Kind, The Day the Earth Stood Still, and more, plus a nostalgic medley of vintage sci-fi television themes.

Join conductor Bramwell Tovey for joyful flag-waving and your favourite British tunes in this annual Promenade tradition! The programme includes Pomp and Circumstance, Jerusalem, and Rule Britannia. Guest soloist Alison Balsom brings an extra burst of brilliance and glamour to the party with a performance of Carnival of Venice. The Times of London said that she "makes the trumpet sing with an irresistible exuberance and eloquence."
