Seniors & Student Discounts

Seniors and students receive special discounts for selected series and seating sections. A senior discount is available to patrons 65 years or older as of Dec. 31, 2010. A student is anyone in full-time attendance at an educational institution. ID is required. Tickets will not be mailed until a copy of senior or student ID is presented to the TSO Customer Service Department. Call 416.598.3375 for a list of acceptable forms of ID.

Prices

All prices include a $3.00 surcharge per ticket to be paid to the Roy Thomson Hall Capital Replacement Fund (CRF), a $2.55 per ticket TSO handling charge, and tax on the total. George Weston Recital Hall tickets include a $1.75 Capital Investment Fund (CIF) and a $2.55 per ticket TSO handling charge, and tax on the total.

13% HST Begins May 1st
As of May 1st, the full 13% Harmonized Sales Tax (HST) must be included on tickets to all performances taking place after July 1st in the 10.11 season (September 2010 to June 2011).

Historically TSO tickets have been exempt from the 8% Ontario Provincial Sales Tax (PST), but that exemption will end with the new HST coming into effect. Order subscription packages by April 30 to save the additional taxes.

Programmes

Artists and programmes, dates, prices, chats, and CBC broadcasts are subject to change without notice. When time allows, programme changes will be announced ahead of the concert time.

Ordering Details

All orders are processed in sequence according to the date the payment is received and must be accompanied by payment for processing. For best available seats, order as early as possible. Due to popularity, some series, concerts and/or sections may have limited seating. Refunds of complete subscription series packages are accepted up to 48 hours prior to the first concert in the series. Refund requests must be received in writing (please enclose the original concert tickets). There are no refunds on individual concerts within a series or on additional tickets purchased.
