National Arts Centre Orchestra
Pinchas Zukerman,
conductor
Ottawa's excellent National Arts Centre Orchestra and its gifted Music Director, Pinchas Zukerman, make a welcome visit to Roy Thomson Hall. Their programme features Mendelssohn's stirring "Reformation" Symphony, named after its use of a hymn tune by Martin Luther, and a piano concerto by Saint-Saëns that, according to one writer, "starts like Bach and ends like Offenbach."
