2009.2010 Season
Joshua Bell Plays Brahms
Peter Oundjian and the TSO give the season a hearty launch with a tribute to the genius of Brahms - ably assisted by the brilliant violinist Joshua Bell. Bell brings his sweet tone and peerless ardour to the noble Violin Concerto. It's complemented by Brahms's most genial symphony, No. 2, whose sunny nature reflects his composing it while vacationing at a resort town in the Alps.
