Carol Lynn Fujino,
Violin
Carol Lynn Fujino was born in Burlington, Ontario where she began learning to play the violin at age three from her father, Mark Fujino. Between summers playing with the National Youth Orchestra of Canada, Ms. Fujino completed her Bachelor of Music in Performance at the University of Toronto where she received the coveted Eaton Scholarship. Her teachers have included Steven Staryk, Mikhail Brat, and Albert Pratz. Since graduating, Ms. Fujino has performed in many of Toronto's professional orchestras including those of the Canadian Opera Company, the National Ballet of Canada and the Esprit Orchestra. Currently one of the newest members of the Toronto Symphony Orchestra first violin section, Ms. Fujino loves to spend her off-hours involved in various chamber music ensembles. She is a founding member of "The Moveable Feast" ensemble comprised of member of the TSO as well as being the new violist of the "Modern Quartet". Carol enjoys her hours away from the orchestra knitting, watching "X-Files" and discovering the intricacies of "Myst".
